Now I Feel Like Fall is here

I spent today making Apple Butter and Apple Sauce with my mother today. She picked apples from her tree and I picked Apples from ours and we were off the peeling coring slicing (thank goodness for the handy all-in-one tool that does it all. Then we began to cook , blend,and bottle I now have some to share and Apple Sauce for my little Brayden when he can start eating that kind of stuff that is truely organic,

It was fun Wade was down at the barn building our new closet for the area just inside the door to replace the LEANING TOWER of pizza fabric closet we have been using for the past 4 years to hold our jackets. The new and improved model will hold much more and wil not lean. Wade is amazing and talented to beable to build us a new one. We are really working on getting ourselves more organized.

I hope this Fall season brings health and Happiness for all my Family and Friends......

We have been so lucky to have our grandson visit us last weekend
he is the cutest BOY ever... of course I am VERY partial to him and his
parents too. We look forward to many more gems in our family called
GRANDCHILDREN next posting will have pictures. Life is very good
for us we have so many many blessings in our lives and in the lives of

NEW GRANDBABY JULY 10 2009

On July 10th at 4:19 am we welcomed our First Grandbaby.

Brayden Isaiah 6lbs. 40unces 19inches .

A ton of black hair I was VERY VERY lucky to be in the birthing room with Krista & Jesse holding one of her legs as she pushed Brayden into the world.

He is the most beautiful little baby .

This is about 24 hours later I am really looking forward to spending the next week with the new little Ramos family helping to take care of Krista and Brayden and support Jesse in this new chapter of there life. Grandma LOVE is a whole new kind of love I am already thinking about when i will be able to come visit again a new thing to save for trips to get my BRAYDEN fix.

February 2009 Guerrero Negro Baja Trip

Here we are at the ever Famous Papa Fernandez's Campo really great food it is 68 miles from the house in Campo San Pedro on mostly dirt road see the road behind the sign. We enjoyed the ride and the food was really great at Papa Fernandez Wade & I ate up the sea food all we could.

This is front of the Hotel we stayed at in Guerrero Negro it was really nice good place to eat next door a great restaurant 1 block up the street.

This is how close our 22' Panga Boat got to the whales we went out in Scammon's Lagoon I almost got to touch the whale but my arm wasn't long enough.

This was right next to our boat they call it a spy whale they raise up enough so they can see whats going on and often they would then swin up to the boat.

Here we are all suited up for boat safety it was a trip we will always remember and we may even do it again we really have to learn spanish. Once again Baja has given us a vacation to treasure and we were blessed to be there with family and friends.

Job Change

So CVS bought longs last October I found out 3 weeks ago I am no longer a floating Pharmacy Technician. I have been getting trained to be the Pharmacy Trainer for my district whhich has gone from 28 stores to 14. I am hoping once I am done going south for my training I wont have to travel so much I have been in a hotel 2-3 days each week the last 3 weeks.

Thank goodness for my vacation next week BAJA here we come!!!!!

New Church Calling

okay so I have a new calling at church.... talk about a shocker but it feels right i love the fact that I am living in such a way to be able to have confirmation that something is just right.

I will be teaching a Sunday School class once a month to adults the class is
"Strengthening The Family" the curriculum is based on the family proclamation from the church. I love the information it will be a class where people are asked to participate or who ask to participate not sure how that all works but the bishopric will ensure the right people are there i just know that through the prayer and research it will allow work out

Hearth Attack 2008

No picture for this one :( the moment I gor back from my VERY RELAXING and FUN Idaho trip I have spent most of the time either out of town working of siting in a Hospital Wade had 2 stents put in the Tuesday after I got back he spent a night there so returned home I then nhad the TERRIBLE experience of Him having another Heart attack the Saturday before Christmas and going back in sor surgery and then staying inICU for 2 days I am just glad he was home for christmas we go back to the cardioligist on the 31st for follow up i have began a book called "The BOOKSouth Beach Heart Health Revolutin" Arthur Agatston MD Cardiologist (earlier this year we lost togerther 35lbs on the south beach diet) I will have alot of questions for the Md andwe will bve adjusting our diet yet again I am willing to do what ever it takes to get Wade healthy ASAP. I am learning Genetic cholesterol issues could be a big factor so all should chek into this for there own health please I beg you take a serious look at your health even if you feel good So was wade........

Thanksgiving at Krista & Jesse's

This is the whole gang the Brown's and Ramos Famlies having a great thanksgiving meal together in Jesse ans Krista's home. Wade and I went over on the wednesday before to help get things going and to spen time with both Krista and Jesse.
Wade & Wade Jr working in the kitchen carving the turkey (Wade BBQ the turkey YUM!) and Jr is working on the salad.(i will post the picture but jr's dog is laying on the floor between them)
Had to take a quick family photo (missing JJ,Mike, Auzia and Howie:( ) but we had alot of laughs and fun. We did something different for us we went to the movies after dinner was done we saw Four Christmas's very very funny!!!!!

Wade & I are finally both HOME together we have the Elders Quorm Thanksgiving party tomorrow i hope to take some pictures to post the I am off on monday out of town but only for 2 days then we are headed to Krista's our oldest Daughter for thanks giving she is hosting it at her home this year.

Wade will BBQ the turkey I will cook the ham we hope to have all our kids there and to meet jessies family too. Jessie will start his cancer treatments soon after the Holiday we ynak all our Family for there prayers on Jessie & Krista's behalf.

I will be taking picture at this event and will post them also even with all the struggles Wade & I are truely blessed with five (8) great kids it is such a blessing to have our kids find great people to add to our family.

May we all reflect and give thanks this season for all that we have been blessed with in our lives.

Almost A Year

I can't believe it will be a year on December 13th that Wade and I became an Eternal Family, and the blessings have been poured out on us because we have been and are striving to be obedient to the promises and covenants we made on that glorious day. Just a thought that I've had on my mind alot this past week as we have faced alot of struggles in our family life. I am so glad i have the Gospel in my life to strenghthen me (did that sound churchy?)

A stressful Day

No pictures for today just alot of gratitude for the small blessings today was HEAVY!!!!! We started with a phone call from Wades brother rather then having just a angioplasy he was told he needs open heart surgery. Wades mom already had a surgery scheduled for 1:30 today for a female procedure so we had already planned a day at the Hospital. We found out last night that Jessie (krista's boyfriend ) may have colon cancer and they had his test result appointmetn today at 1:45. Well he does have cancer and tomorrow they see the oncologist to set up a plan of attack and we are continuing to fast and pray that it will be treatable and beatable the doctor they spoke to yesterday gave them good odds it is so we are thankful for that bit of good news.
We are taking one day at a time and moving forword I leave tomorrow to work out of town for 3 days wade will pick me up on friday evening as we travel to the LA Temple for a stake temple day on saturday I am a bit nerveous about going with all the recent protest and i am a bit worried about trying to shope at my favorite LDS bookstore across the street I know Wade will keep me safe its just that I am so confrontational by nature I know I need to keep my mouth shut not a natural response for those of you who know me.

Our trip to ZION National Park August 2008. Shawna & I on the walk way. A little blurry but hey I won't complain it hides the flaws......

After walking for 45 min. barefoot in the river we saw people who had been smart and rented shoes and walking sticks (duh!) next time........ I really want to return to this park with Wade for a few days the walks were pretty easy and the bus ride up to every drop off point made the whole park that most everyone can enjoy. I just love the little town we stayed in Sringdale right at the park opening I would love to explore it a little with Wade. I got my workout this day.
Shawna & Jona on the same river walk in Zions Park Jona survived it the best next time we will go further as we will rent the right equipment.

Fathers day/ Birthday trip 2008
